Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026
Terms and Conditions
1. General provisions

The Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 (the “Contest”) is an initiative organized by Gurtam, the software development company behind Wialon (the “Organizer”). The purpose of this Contest is to engage the Wialon partner community by recognizing and rewarding the most active and dedicated participants with an exclusive opportunity to join the Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 event in Saudi Arabia.

2. Contest timeline

  • Earning points: April 24 – September 30, 2025
  • Final prize draw: October 12, 2025, during the Wialon community reunion in Dubai.
  • Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 — trip to Saudi Arabia: January 2026 (the exact dates will align with the official Dakar Rally and will be announced later).
3. Prizes and awards

The main prize of the Contest is the participation in the Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 — an expedition accompanying the Dakar Rally event in Saudi Arabia. There are 3 spots to win. Each spot includes:
  • Up to EUR 1,000 reimbursement of travel expenses (subject to submission of valid receipts).
  • Full coverage of the 5-day desert expedition, including car rental, accommodation, and necessary equipment.
  • A visit to the official Dakar Rally bivouac camp.
  • An opportunity to meet the Gurtam Toyota Gazoo Racing Team Baltics and the rally driver Benediktas Vanagas.
  • Participation in a survival race through off-road terrain, alongside professional athletes.
Please note: The detailed schedule and full program of the trip will be finalized and confirmed by Gurtam at a later stage.

4. Prizes and awards: Additional terms

  • The Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 will be highlighted across Wialon’s and Gurtam’s official communication channels and media, and can feature interviews with participants.
  • Visa arrangements and costs are not included in the prize and must be handled and paid for by the participants individually.
  • Health insurance is mandatory, is not included in the prize, and must be handled and covered by the participants individually.
Additional recognitions or rewards may be announced at the discretion of the Organizer.

5. Eligibility

  • The Contest is open to all Wialon partners worldwide, regardless of their partner status level (No status, Silver, Gold) or the number of vehicles connected to Wialon.
  • There is no limit to the number of participants from a single company. Any employee of a Wialon partner company, regardless of their job title or position, is eligible to participate.
  • To remain eligible for the Contest, the participant’s company must be an active Wialon partner at the time of registration and continue to hold this status through the conclusion of the Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 trip.
  • If a company’s partnership with Wialon becomes inactive during the Contest, all employees from that company will lose their eligibility for the prize.
6. Registration process

  • To join the Contest, participants need to register on the official Contest websitechallenge.wialon.com.
  • Each participant will have access to a personal account on challenge.wialon.com where they can register or log in, submit activities, view points awarded for each activity, as well as their total score.
  • After registration, participants must go to the Your profile section of their personal account and complete all fields with accurate and up-to-date information to enable accurate point collection and tracking. This information includes: Full name; Company brand name (used on the leaderboard and in communications); Position; Country; Email address; Phone number.
  • By registering, participants consent to the processing of their personal data by Gurtam for the purposes of Contest administration and communication.
  • Participants acknowledge and agree that their name, company, and country may be published on challenge.wialon.com, on wialon.com, on gurtam.com, and across Wialon’s and Gurtam’s official communication channels.
  • They also acknowledge that participation in the Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 expedition involves exposure to extreme desert conditions — including high temperatures, sun exposure, and limited comfort — and voluntarily accept these risks, assuming full personal responsibility.
Please note: The official language of the Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 trip is English. No interpreter will be provided during the expedition, so each participant must have a sufficient level of English to navigate the experience independently.

7. Contest mechanics and the final draw

  • Participants earn points by completing various activities listed in Section 9 of the Contest rules.
  • For every 50 points earned, a participant receives one Ticket — a chance to win the main prize in the final draw. The more points a participant accumulates, the more Tickets they will receive, increasing their chances of winning.
  • At the end of the Contest, a draw will be held using a randomization tool to select 3 winning Tickets. Each winning Ticket corresponds to one participant who will receive the main prize — a spot in the Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 expedition.
  • The draw will take place during the Wialon community reunion in Dubai on October 12, 2025
8. Earning points

  • All activities need to be submitted on challenge.wialon.com. Only activity in the Wialon community chats is tracked manually by the Organizer. In other cases, participants are expected to submit their results themselves.
  • If an activity was clearly completed but no submission is received, the Organizer may award points at their discretion.
  • Depending on the type of activity, points may be awarded either to the individual participant or to all participating employees of the partner company. The details are specified in Section 9. In all cases, each participant should submit the activity on challenge.wialon.com to receive points.
  • Depending on the type of activity, points may be awarded either automatically or manually by the Organizer, in accordance with the Contest rules.
  • Participants’ point totals are updated periodically, based on a schedule set by the Organizer, and may not appear immediately after submission.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to review submissions and, at their discretion, adjust or revoke points in cases of non-compliance with the Contest rules. Explanations for such adjustments are not required.
Please note: Participants are expected to provide accurate and truthful information. Inaccurate or misleading submissions may result in disqualification.

10. Leaderboard

  • Participants can track their progress on the official leaderboard on the Contest website.
  • The number of Tickets shown reflects each participant’s chances in the final prize draw but does not guarantee a win. Even participants with only a few Tickets have a chance to win the main prize, though their odds are lower compared to those with more Tickets.
Please note: The leaderboard is not updated in real time.

  • In case of errors, inconsistencies, or suspected misuse, the Organizer may adjust or revoke points.

12. Withdrawal or disqualification

  • Participants may withdraw from the Contest by sending a written notice to the Organizer.
  • Withdrawals are only possible during the first phase — the points collection period — and must be submitted before the final prize draw.
  • By continuing past this phase, participants confirm they are ready to join the Wialon Challenge Dakar 2026 expedition in January 2026 if selected as winners.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be assigned to another person, including colleagues within the same company.
  • If a winner declines the prize for any reason, it will be awarded to the next eligible participant from the reserve list formed during the draw.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants whose actions violate the Contest rules or go against the collaborative spirit and values of the Wialon community.
13. Disclaimer

  • The Organizer is not liable for technical issues, delays, or force majeure events that may affect participation or the expedition.
  • The Organizer also reserves the right to modify, pause, or cancel the Contest if circumstances require.
