What to expect
In January 2026, a select group from the Wialon partner community will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure along the route of the legendary Dakar Rally. This is not a luxury tour through the dunes, but a true test of skill, endurance, and teamwork — a survival challenge in the unforgiving landscapes of Saudi Arabia.
I have no doubt that the Wialon community can rise to any challenge. In 2023, we climbed an active volcano in Indonesia to prove our strength, unity, and determination. In 2024, we celebrated our professional milestones by running over 4,000 kilometers together. Now, an even greater test lies ahead — five thrilling days in the sands of Saudi Arabia. A truly epic adventure awaits, one that will push us further than ever before.

From April to September, we held a special community contest to select the final 3 members of the 12-person desert crew. Participants earned points by taking part in various community activities and received 1 ticket for the randomized winners draw for every 50 points collected.

Wialon Challenge Dakar: Brief recap

January 2–8, 2026, Saudi Arabia (start and finish in Jeddah)
Desert crew
16 participants — 4 Wialon team members and 12 Wialon partners
Concept
The crew will split into 4 squads of 4 to take on a set of various survival challenges — from navigating without GPS to capturing the best photos and optimizing fuel use. The squad completing the most tasks wins the Wialon Challenge!
Conditions
True desert experience — no 5-star hotels or spas, just breathtaking landscapes and the raw energy of desert racing.
